Legal Fees
We provide legal services under various types of fee arrangement, including flat fee, hourly rate, and contingent fee. We begin every client relationship with a free consultations to evaluate your situation and come up with a proposed fee structure for services. Below is an explanation of each fee structure that we employ.
Our rate for attending in-person meetings is $300 per hour. Additionally, there is a minimum charge of $300 for travel time in and around Atlanta.
While most services are carried out remotely, there are many scenarios where in-person services are warranted. For example, you might ask that I attend company board meetings or investor presentations. Alternatively, you may need in-person assistance during compliance-dependent scenarios, such as when discharging an employee or investigating an allegation of harassment or discrimination. We can also provide in-person representation during any negotiation, such as debt or equity funding discussions.
We provide custom quotes for all drafting services.
- For example, drafting a contract may cost $500. While drafting an LLC package, including a multi-member operating (ownership) agreement with buy-sell agreement may cost $1000.
If you schedule an appointment with the primary purpose of determining your drafting needs, that appointment fee will be credited against the drafting fee.
- For example, if you scheduled an appointment with the sole purpose of discussing drafting a $500 contract. The $300 appointment fee (1-hour appointment) will be credited against the $500 cost of drafting.
If you purchase a form template, you can later decide to have us help you in modifying or drafting the document to meet your needs. In fact, we highly recommend that you do so, as form templates are rarely effective to meet your legal needs. If you require our drafting assistance, you will need to sign up for an appointment to discuss your legal needs. During the appointment, will will identify all information that we will need to execute the legal drafting services. The appointment fee of $300 and the cost of the template will be credited against the document drafting fee.
The drafting fee for many documents, such as simple contracts that require 1 hour or less of drafting time, will be fully covered by the appointment fee.
- For example, if you purchase a template for $20. You schedule an appointment for $300 to discuss drafting assistance. At the appointment, the quoted rate for making the necessary edits to the template or drafting the document is $350. The remaining fee before drafting will begin is $30.
Our hourly rate for business services is $300. We offer free initial consultations. All appointments or meetings (including scheduled phone or video conferences) have a fixed, minimum duration of one (1) hour.
During a free consultation or during a scheduled appointment or meeting, we may provide a quote for necessary services, such as document drafting or research, as a flat fee.
All services rendered outside of an appointment will be carried out based upon a price quoted in advance of the service. So, you will always know what you can expect to pay.
Note: If the sole purpose of a scheduled appointment is to determine your document drafting needs, the $300 hourly fee for the appointment will be credited against the quoted drafting fee. For example, if the purpose of an appointment is to discuss drafting a sales agent agreement quoted at $500. Your remaining fee due upon completion of the drafting services will be $200.
We offer flat-fee pricing for many of legal services.
With a flat fee, you’ll know the total cost up front before any work begins. No hourly rates. No unexpected charges. Just straightforward pricing that allows you to plan ahead and focus on what matters most.
Services Available for Flat Fees:
- Contract Drafting and Review
- Business entity formation and structuring

- Trust packages
- Powers of attorney and health care directives
- etc.
A contingency fee means we receive compensation from a percentage of the judgment, award, or settlement that we obtain for you.
You owe us nothing unless we recover financial compensation in your case, either through a verdict, arbitration award, or settlement. So, please do not let the worry of costs stop you from seeking our help in your case.
We negotiate our contingency fee percentage directly with clients before accepting a case or engaging in the attorney-client relationship. The percentage fee we require to handle a case is based upon many factors, such as the nature and extent of the injury or accident, the defendants involved, the need for investigation and expert consultants, amount of medical bills, and the stage of resolution (pre-trial, at trial, on appeal). The costs incurred to resolve the case are paid from the settlement, award, or judgment we obtain against the defendant(s).
Please do not be intimidated by the contingency fee. We seek to establish a compensation structure that is fair to us and our clients. Your well-being is our first priority. We work hard so that you receive the compensation that you deserve for your injuries.
Regardless of your situation, we are happy to speak with you to evaluate your legal needs. Schedule a free consultation with us. We can review the details of your legal issue or case.
